A Message to Members: SAG Awards Moves to Netflix

Dear Member,

I am thrilled to share the news that we have concluded an agreement that will bring the Screen Actors Guild Awards® to Netflix. This year’s show will be streamed live on Netflix’s YouTube channel and, starting with the 30th Annual SAG Awards next year, we will stream live globally on the Netflix platform itself! This new agreement marks an important milestone for the show as it moves to the landmark streaming platform with more than 223 million subscribers in over 190 countries. We are all tremendously excited to embark on this new partnership with Netflix and look forward to expanding the global audience for our show. As the only televised awards program exclusively honoring the performances of actors, whose work is admired by millions of fans, the SAG Awards are a unique and cherished part of the entertainment universe.

Also, nominees for the 29th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards honoring outstanding individual, cast, ensemble and stunt performances for the past year were announced this morning via Instagram Live. Visit sagawards.org to see who was nominated this year.
