A Message From the New Orleans Local President

I wanted to alert you to a few upcoming events.
 
First, I would highly recommend that all members attend one of two Louisiana Film Entertainment Association meetings this month. 
 
When: 5-7 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 24

Please note that these are in-person events. Trey Burvant of Second Line Studios, and the current president of LFEA, will be discussing keeping our tax incentives in place and the film community strong. Please RSVP via email to info@lfea.org by Sept. 17 for New Orleans or Sept. 24 for Baton Rouge.
 
Second, we‘re hosting a one-hour virtual Crescent City Connection at 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 30. Please mark your calendar for this casual conversation with fellow members. More details coming soon.
 
Finally, our annual membership meeting will be online via Zoom on Monday, Nov. 14. The board will be there to answer any questions you may have, and we are currently arranging for some pretty exciting guest speakers! Mark that on your calendars and watch for the official email announcement as the date approaches.
