Members of the Miami Local and guests gathered on Jan. 21 for the viewing of the 24th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at Dave and Buster’s in Hollywood, Florida. The event opened with a reception prior to the awards ceremony, where members mixed with franchised agents and casting directors, and was followed by a dinner buffet. The excitement generated by the awards show continued during the commercial breaks with the trivia questions that were related to the nominees. The winners of the trivia contest went home with great SAG-AFTRA and SAG Awards prizes. The best treat was saved for last for everyone’s enjoyment: The now-traditional SAG Awards strawberry-filled cake.
