SAG-AFTRA Miami Local holds its Annual Membership Meeting in Miami and Informational Meeting in Orlando

The 2017 membership meeting was held in Miami on Monday, Nov. 6, 2017, at Dave and Buster’s. Prior to the gathering, members mingled and networked and enjoyed food and drinks at a members’ mixer.  

A little more than a month later, the local held an informational meeting in Orlando on Monday, Dec. 11, 2017 at the Sheraton in Maitland. Prior to it, members gathered at the An Tobar bar and had a great time socializing. 

At the meetings, members were updated on the initiatives and activities held during the past year, which included workshops, Telemundo’s organizing, election and negotiations, the Commercials Organizing and Recapture Initiative and the Miami Regional Commercials Code. Members also participated in a Q&A session.
