The New England Local Board, members and staff at Boston's Make Way For Ducklings on Dec. 4.

New England Local leaders, members and staff took to the streets as part of the continuing protests against ad agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty. SAG-AFTRA’s social media campaign, #StrikeBBH, is a nationwide call against ad agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty. Members throughout the country are being asked to make signs bearing the hashtag and post photos and videos online. New England chose two landmarks: the Make Way for Ducklings statue in Boston, pictured above, and the Bewitched Statue in downtown Salem, Massachusetts.

BBH has worked with SAG-AFTRA under the Commercials Contracts for over 20 years, but has recently attempted to abandon these contracts. This takes opportunities away from union actors and threatens their ability to work on safe sets, earn livable wages and receive health benefits. Shame on BBH!
