On May 15, Hawaii Local staff, with co-hosting assistance from Hawaii Local Board President Andy Sikkink and Hawaii Local Secretary Scott Swartz, held a virtual new member orientation. A mix of recently joined and seasoned members participated, as we discussed member benefits, contracts, Global Rule One and other topics. After the presentation, Hawaii Local Board member and National Board member Ian Cusick led a talkstory session with special guest, SAG-AFTRA member and critically acclaimed director Justin Chon. The lively Q&A focused on his career as an actor/director and breaking in, auditioning and winning work in Hawaii.
