New Orleans Local Welcomes New Members

The New Orleans Local kicked off the new year with a SAG-AFTRA 101 online orientation for new, transfer and veteran members on Jan. 23. Participants from both Louisiana and Mississippi learned about our history, governance, safety and contracts, and how to get more involved. One member summed it up with their comment, “I enjoyed the orientation … the wealth of resources and information.” The program was presented by National Board member Diana Boylston, Local Communications Committee member Rhonda Laizer, and staff member Lisha Brock. And three members won union swag!
