On Feb. 24, more than 500 SAG-AFTRA New York Local members gathered at SVA Theatre in Manhattan for the Local’s viewing party of the 30th SAG Awards. In a year that presented many challenges for actors and performers, it was a wonderful celebration of their amazing work. Members were invited to show off their festive attire on the red carpet and step-and-repeat. The New York Host Committee coordinated the event, and Vice Chairs Lori Hammel and Marc Baron served as the pre-show hosts. A special video message from New York Local President Ezra Knight kicked off the night. Members and their guests were given custom cookies and a chance to win the raffle at the end of the show.
