Members prepping to play Escape Room in a Box: The Werewolf Experiment at October’s Game Night.

If you haven’t attended the NextGen Performer Committee’s monthly Game Night yet, you are missing a wickedly good time. Each month is a new adventure.

October’s theme was “The Escape Room” (some members are still trying to escape), which tapped into the game that is all the rage. There were plenty of snacks to munch on and enough drink to wet your whistle — at least for those who managed to escape.

A “Harry Potter World” theme claimed the month of September. Even though Potter sent his regrets via a new owl, members of the Hogwarts’ houses, including Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, mingled with some muggles — and there was not a death eater in sight! Yummies included butterbeer and Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans, along with Potter trivia and Potter prizes, while the movies played in the background. And members who needed a break from the Potter world could play the board game Clue.

Previous months’ activities included playing Cards Against Humanity and Jackbox Games.

Do you like to laugh and have fun? Do you like to munch on goodies? Do you have a competitive spirit?
