Sorry, registrations are no longer available for NextGen Performers WGA Picket Line Meet-Up
When: Friday, June 2nd from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. PT
Stay for the whole time or as long as you’re able!
The SAG-AFTRA LA NextGen Performers Committee (NGP) would love to invite you to join a picket mobilization meet-up on Friday, June 2nd to show solidarity with the WGA.
Meet up and get to know fellow SAG-AFTRA members while we demonstrate support for the WGA in their fight for a fair and equitable contract. While the event is hosted by the NGP Committee (Millennial and Gen Z SAG-AFTRA members, we’re looking at you!) all SAG-AFTRA members are welcome to join our meetup!
Where: CBS Radford, 4024 Radford Ave, Studio City, CA 91604 (Colfax near Gate C)
When you arrive, look for SAG-AFTRA staff to check in and receive a picket sign and t-shirt - first come, first served.
What to Bring: Your SAG-AFTRA member ID card (or download the SAG-AFTRA app to show your digital card), a SAG-AFTRA T-shirt if you have one, sunscreen, hat, water bottle, and a rainbow item in honor of Pride Week (hats, scarves, umbrellas, etc) to really make our photos pop!
Help us spread the word and bring a friend! All are welcome to attend, but only SAG-AFTRA members in good standing can receive a t-shirt and picket sign.
Be sure to show your solidarity on social media by posting photos from the event using the hashtags: #IAmNGP, #sagaftramember and #1u. And be sure to follow and tag us in your instagram stories at @nextgenperformers and @sagaftra!
This is just one of the many events we have planned over the next several months! Stay tuned to hear about the upcoming NGP mixers, educational programming, and meetups we’ll be hosting! Know someone who’s not on our mailing list? They can email NextGen@sagaftra.org to be added so they don’t miss out.

REMINDERS:
- If you are contracted to work on a television series or motion picture that continues to produce while the WGA is on strike, you are obligated by your personal service agreement and the “No Strike” clause in our collective bargaining agreements to go to work. You can continue to audition for work and accept new work if you choose to do so.
- SAG-AFTRA members should not perform the duties covered by WGA contracts. You should not write anything normally written by striking WGA writers.
- Finally, we must support our fellow SAG-AFTRA members on every set even if they have to cross a picket line to get to work. The WGA is aware of the requirements of our No Strike clause and our members’ individual personal service agreements, and the fact that the labor law protections that apply to striking workers do not apply to other workers whose contracts are still in effect.
