Katie Beckvold is a certified Alexander teacher and a member of Alexander Technique International. A classically trained singer with degrees from both Boston Conservatory and Boston University, she is a performer, professional singer, voice teacher and instructor.

Session preparation/attire: Participants should wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat or a towel to use to lay down on. This session will be hands-on, especially for those who volunteer for one-on-one work towards the end of the program. If you volunteer, please be prepared with an activity that you either greatly enjoy or struggle with (monologue, writing, sit to stand, etc.).

Note: This conservatory is for adults and teens ages 14 and up.

The seminar is only open to paid-up SAG-AFTRA members in good standing aged 14 & up, no guests allowed. Parents/guardians of performers under 18 years old are welcome. You must bring your current membership card or digital card on the app for admittance (paid thru April 30, 2019).
