North Carolina Seeing Huge Production Spending Surge

According to the Triangle Business Journal, film production in North Carolina is anticipated to generate over $300 million in in-state spending in 2012, far surpassing last year’s record-breaking numbers for the state. These productions are bringing thousands of jobs to the state for both actors and crew members as well. Over 35 productions have filmed or will be filming in 30 of North Carolina’s counties.

This is fantastic news for our members in the region and we look forward to hopefully seeing some of them in films like Iron Man 3 and We’re the Millers.
