Jan. 15 was opening day at the Hawaii State Legislature, and our SAG-AFTRA Hawaii Local leaders were on hand to participate in the festivities and make our presence known at the Capitol. Hawaii Local President Andy Sikkink, Vice President and Hawaii Local Legislative Committee Chair Charles Uyehara, Hawaii Local Board member and National Board member Henry Ian Cusick, and Hawaii Local Executive Director Mericia Palma Elmore spent time talking with legislators, staff and officials about issues that affect our local members and the creative industries in Hawaii.
