Philly Local Background Committee Hosts Team-Building Event

The Philly Local’s Background Committee hosted a team-building event on May 19, as the Philadelphia Phillies took on the Chicago Cubs at Citizens Bank Park. Our union solidarity continues to thrive in Philadelphia, as WGA strike captain Shuo Zhang was also in attendance. The Background Actors Committee is committed to addressing issues and concerns of members who do background, stand-in and photo-double work, through member advocacy, outreach and education, organizing, participation in industry events, and by making recommendations to staff or to the Board.
