Presenting the SAG-AFTRA Website in Spanish

Dear Member,

SAG-AFTRA is proud to represent the people who work in front of the camera and behind the microphone, not only in English-language entertainment and broadcasting, but in the rapidly growing Spanish-language market as well. With thousands of members working primarily in Spanish for major industry employers like Telemundo, news and broadcast stations around the country, and the major record labels, our members need access to key union information in Spanish just as they do in English. 

Our union is fully committed to inclusion for all of our members, and to providing a sense of belonging whether your work is done in English or Spanish. Today, we are proud to launch our website, es.sagaftra.org, in Spanish. 

While this new website is in beta, it includes the content of our English-language website, while also providing resources that are specific to the unique needs and work lives of members working in the Spanish-language industry. 

We celebrate adding this important tool for us to interact with our members in ways that work for them -- an effort that also includes a popular Spanish-language podcast and social media channels on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, all of which you can find under the “SAG-AFTRA en Español” handle @sagaftraespanol.

This is one important step to help build solidarity among all our members regardless of language. Standing together, we are always stronger.

Nuestro sindicato está totalmente comprometido con la inclusión de todos nuestros miembros y con brindar un sentido de pertenencia, ya sea que su trabajo se realice en inglés o en español.

Querido/a miembro,

SAG-AFTRA se enorgullece de representar a las personas que trabajan frente a la cámara y detrás del micrófono, no solo en la industria en inglés, sino también en el mercado en español. Con miles de miembros que trabajan principalmente en español para los mayores empleadores de la industria como Telemundo, estaciones de radiodifusión y noticias de todo el país y las principales discográficas, nuestros miembros necesitan acceso a información clave de su sindicato en español tanto como sus colegas que trabajan en inglés.

Nuestro sindicato está totalmente comprometido con la inclusión de todos nuestros miembros y con brindar un sentido de pertenencia, ya sea que su trabajo se realice en inglés o en español. Hoy, estamos orgullosos de lanzar nuestro sitio web en español, es.sagaftra.org.

Si bien este nuevo sitio web está en versión beta, incluye el contenido de nuestro sitio web en inglés, al mismo tiempo que proporciona recursos que son específicos para las necesidades únicas y la vida laboral de los miembros que trabajan en la industria en idioma español.

Celebramos haber agregado esta importante herramienta para poder interactuar con nuestros miembros en formas que sean comprensibles para ellos, un esfuerzo que también incluye un popular podcast en español y canales de redes sociales en Instagram, Facebook y Twitter, todos los cuales puede encontrar bajo "SAG-AFTRA en Español" (@sagaftraespanol).  

Este es un paso importante para ayudar a construir la solidaridad entre todos nuestros miembros, independientemente del idioma que hablen. Juntos, siempre somos más fuertes.
