Remembering Former SAG-AFTRA Nashville Staff Member Judy Marie Ellis

For almost 15 years, if you called or visited the Nashville Local office on Music Row, the first person you would be greeted by was Judy Marie Ellis. “Hey Sugar, how ya’ doing?” More than a few members would call or drop in just to catch up with Judy or take advantage of her never-empty bowls of candy.  

A veteran employee of Music Row before she even joined AFTRA, Judy could entertain with countless stories of life on the Row. But she always made you feel like no one’s story, or no one person, was more important than you.

Judy Marie passed away at age 70 this past January. She will be missed by all who knew her.
