The SAG-AFTRA New England Conservatory held an event titled Stay in Sync With Slate Casting featuring Slate Casting casting directors Aaron Kahl and Ashley Skomurski in Boston on Oct. 9, 2024. SAG-AFTRA Local Executive Director Jessica Maher led the panel, which offered insight into areas of commercial, corporate media and independent film casting. An open question-and-answer session dominated the evening, giving members a tremendous opportunity to ask questions of Kahl and Skomurski. It was an informative and engaging New England Conservatory event. The SAG-AFTRA New England Local especially appreciated hearing Slate Casting say, “SAG-AFTRA members are reliable!”
