Alan Alda

Audiences throughout the country watched as SAG-AFTRA member Alan Alda received the 55th SAG Life Achievement Award during the 25th Annual SAG Awards ceremony on Jan. 27. Although he may be best known for the role of Capt. Benjamin Franklin “Hawkeye” Pierce from the hit television series M*A*S*H, Alda’s decades-long career has included memorable roles on the stage, screen and television, as well as writing, producing and directing credits. In recent years, his work has included highly lauded contributions in the fields of science education and communication.
