Dear Member,
Labor’s Community Service Agency has been a champion for the health, well-being, and stability of families and individuals throughout the Columbia-Willamette Valley region for over forty years. They help aid working people in need through a variety of programs including their signature event Presents For Partners – a toy drive and giving party that helps unemployed families throughout Greater Portland to enjoy the holidays with the help of hundreds of dedicated local union volunteers and community partners.
The SAG-AFTRA Portland Local is a proud supporter of Presents For Partners, and this year LCSA has asked members to volunteer as “parent wranglers” at this year’s event, which takes place on Dec. 15 at a location off of NE 181st Avenue in Portland, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. While the children of unemployed or underemployed working families search through donated gifts, volunteers will help direct family members to a “boutique” and “grocery store” with donated goods they can take home with them.
