SAG-AFTRA members picket in solidarity with WGA members

Since the Writers Guild of America strike began on May 2, SAG-AFTRA New York Local members have come out in force at picket lines across New York City to show their solidarity. Members have joined pickets in Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan. Over 1,200 members from SAG-AFTRA, WGA, IATSE, Actors’ Equity, and unions across New York state joined a huge rally on May 10 in Hudson Yards in support of writers’ fight for a fair contract.

SAG-AFTRA continues to support the WGA in its fight to receive a fair and equitable contract and will be joining WGA at additional pickets. Please check sagaftra.org/wgastrike for the latest information.
