Members seized the opportunity to attend the popular all-day Seizing the Day seminar presented by veteran actor and Chicago Local Board member Antonio Castillo and guest panelist performer Cedric Young (The Chi) on Nov. 23 at the Kaufherr Center.
During the annual two-hour seminar, members were advised on how to take charge of marketing/promoting their career using branding techniques and social media. Castillo and Young shared strategies that have successfully helped them brand and market themselves as performers.
Castillo is the chairman of the Chicago Local Diversity Committee and has served on the National EEO Committee.
