Spirits were high in Phoenix on Tuesday, July 25, at Teamsters Local 104, where our SAG-AFTRA Arizona-Utah Local rallied together in support of the strike action.

“We’re actors,” said member Saylor Billings, “We’ll always find a way to make our voices heard.”

Despite the historic heat wave, the Teamsters stepped up and showed their solidarity by giving us a space to come together safely. Local President Joe Corcoran conducted the meeting and Local Board member Jennifer Pflazgraff led us in songs of solidarity. Lisha Brock, director of locals administration, clarified valuable information regarding indie projects and what members can and can’t work on during the strike. There will be no strike-breaking on our watch in Arizona.
