Tax Updates for Entertainment Performers 

The President’s Task Force on Education & Outreach has provided a list of resources, including a tax prep worksheet, from the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program to give you all the information you need to know this tax season. You can also view their video presentation featuring SAG-AFTRA New York Local Board Member and Actors’ Equity Association Secretary-Treasurer Sandra Karas on SAG-AFTRA’s Youtube channel. As a tax attorney and longtime volunteer of VITA, Karas provides helpful, up-to-date information and resources about tax preparation and filing for performers.
