The boards of the Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston-Austin locals held a joint meeting on June 2 at the SAG-AFTRA office near Dallas. Topics discussed included membership, core mission and planning the future for the union in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
As always, there was more to discuss than time permitted, but also great energy, great ideas, great leadership, and the beautiful beginnings and renewals of great friendships. Many traveled from afar (Houston or Austin) or had to work around other commitments to be present, but found the day well worth their time.
