Extension Through May 13

Los Angeles (April 19, 2005) -- All paid-up SAG and AFTRA members who work under the Interactive Media Agreements are urged to attend one of these important contract meetings

SAG and AFTRA have been jointly negotiating with a group of video game publishers on Interactive Media Agreements. Representatives from the unions and management have agreed to extend the current Interactive Media Agreements to May 13, 2005.

SAG and AFTRA will host three caucuses for interactive media voice actors in Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco (see times and days below). Members of the voice community will be given a full report on the progress of interactive negotiations. A strike authorization vote will be conducted among those present who work these contracts. This is a vote that authorizes the unions’ elected leaders to call a strike only if bargaining fails.

THE THREE CAUCUSES WILL BE HELD:

Los Angeles
7 p.m. Monday, April 25
James Cagney Board Room
5757 Wilshire Blvd
Los Angeles
(validated parking available in structure behind building)

New York

SAG Board Room
360 Madison Avenue, 12th floor

San Francisco
7 p.m. Tuesday, April 26
Bill Hillman Room, 350 Sansome Street, Suite 900

This is your chance to participate in the future of this contract. Come early and bring your membership card. Please forward this notice to any member who also works under the SAG or AFTRA Interactive Media Agreement.

Performers who work these agreements and who are not located in Los Angeles, New York or San Francisco are welcome to email comments to sagcommunications@sag.org . Please include your name and union member number. Responses will be given to the negotiating committee and negotiators.
