Together, from Tucson to Salt Lake

The Arizona-Utah Local launched its Cyber Cafe Connection via Zoom on Feb. 15. Members from northern and southern Arizona and Utah connected for an hour from the comfort of their homes and enjoyed meeting new union siblings from all over the local’s regions. They shared career stories and the perks of residuals, discussed senior member healthcare options and film incentives, and received tips on navigating the website and member app to find production listings. They also showed off their pets and made their predictions for the SAG Awards. 

The first five members who registered and attended won “door” prizes that were to be mailed or hand delivered at the viewing party in Phoenix. One member praised the meeting, saying “I enjoyed it all, even sharing our dogs! I liked the interaction and the topics, which could get even more fun with others joining in. I really like this better than driving across town.”

Another member said, “I appreciated the opportunity to meet members I wouldn’t have otherwise had the chance to meet due to our spread-out geography.”
