SAG-AFTRA Twin Cities Local members gathered for the local’s annual membership meeting on April 23. The meeting was held at the Wellstone Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Local President Peter Moore and National Board member Randal Berger updated the assembled members about developments with the new commercials contracts, rules for stunt safety and other local training opportunities from the past year.

In addition, the local welcomed special guest Philip Gilpin, executive director of Catalyst Story Institute and Content Festival (formerly known as the Independent TV Festival). During his presentation, Gilpin detailed the institution’s efforts to develop Duluth into a regional center for mid-budget episodic work and to encourage more robust film tax incentives from the state of Minnesota.
