SAG-AFTRA Interactive Media Agreement Negotiating Committee Chair Sarah Elmaleh and Committee member Andi Norris were guest speakers at Loyola Law School on March 27, 2025. The class, Law & Practice with the Hollywood Guilds, is taught by adjunct faculty member and  SAG-AFTRA consultant Danielle Van Lier.

During the lecture, Elmaleh and Norris gave students insight into their work as video game performers and spoke about their professional experiences. They also discussed the key issues of the SAG-AFTRA video game strike, including the necessity of artificial intelligence safeguards and their approach to negotiating with employers, and the creation of the SAG-AFTRA Tiered-Budget Independent Interactive Media Agreement.

The lecture concluded with Elmaleh and Norris sharing their thoughts and advice to the students when navigating entry into entertainment law.
