WMA Local Associate Executive Director Jane Love joined casting directors Kimberly Skyrme and Anne Chapman as well as SAG-AFTRA member and acting coach Katie Killacky on a panel discussion for actors on March 28. Sponsored by the Virginia Production Alliance, it was held at Thundershot Studios in Fairfax, Virginia, and roughly 75 union and pre-union performers came together to learn about everything from contract protections to self-taping tips to right to work laws.
It was a lively and positive evening, and our thanks go to SAG-AFTRA mom Barbara Scheele for coordinating and moderating.
