The arts are our future! They always have been, and they always will be. You and I know how important the arts are to a thriving, compassionate, and future-focused culture.

That’s why I’m asking you to Vote Yes on California Proposition 28, which will funnel nearly $1 billion annually in new funding to arts and music education in our public schools. All without raising taxes!

It's been proven that kids who get arts education do better at core education. The arts are also instrumental to helping kids express their feelings in a positive, healthy way, rather than in potentially self-destructive or anti-social ways.

As a recipient of arts in education in the '70s, I can tell you firsthand that the arts education I enjoyed enriched my childhood and the rest of my life exponentially.

Right now, we have the chance to make the biggest change in arts education that the State of California has seen in decades.

VOTE YES on PROP 28 and let’s make the future of California’s kids BRIGHT!
