The Writers Guild of America, East is in the middle of a contract fight at the largest production company in New York City, Leftfield Entertainment. Leftfield makes around 20 percent of the nonfiction/reality TV in New York City including some well-known shows – Pawn Stars, Tiny House, Counting Cars and American Grit. The WGAE has made some progress at the bargaining table, but to win a fair contract they are going to need to mobilize supporters and allies for a public action.
