The Writers Guild of America, East is in the middle of a contract fight at the largest production company in New York City, Leftfield Entertainment. Leftfield makes around 20 percent of the nonfiction/reality TV in New York City including some well-known shows – Pawn Stars, Tiny House, Counting Cars and American Grit. The WGAE has made some progress at the bargaining table, but to win a fair contract they are going to need to mobilize supporters and allies for a public action.

When: 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 15

Where: 235 East 45th Street

New York, NY 10017

WGAE members and allies will gather in midtown to bring the message of improving working conditions throughout the industry and send the message that freelancers making profitable TV deserve better pay, hours and health care!
