Wynonna Brings Down the House at SXSW

The SAG-AFTRA Sound Recordings Department, along with Nashville Local staff member Josh Reese, co-presented a discussion panel and hosted a musical showcase featuring SAG-AFTRA Nashville Local member Wynonna Judd at this year’s South By Southwest music conference, which took place in Austin, Texas. 

The panel, which was held at the Austin Convention Center and was conducted in conjunction with SAG-AFTRA, was hosted by SAG-AFTRA member and NPR music correspondent Ann Powers. The musical showcase, titled Stories & Songs was held at St. David’s Bethel Hall Episcopal Church and offered up a career-spanning musical performance by Wynonna and her band, The Big Noise.
