SAG Awards Viewing Party and Nashville Film Festival

We hope this finds you all safe, warm and thankful that winter has finally released us from its icy grip. "I would like to thank everyone who braved January’s chill to join us for a fun-filled SAG Awards viewing party at The Listening Room. Over 60 members, guests and staff gathered for an evening of delicious food, door prizes and fellowship as we watched all our “hard work” of screening and voting on nominated films come to fruition. I hope you enjoyed the films, your favorites won and you’ll put this membership event on your calendar for next year," said Local Secretary Michael Montgomery.

Our annual spring fling, the Nashville Film Festival, was April 16-25 at the Regal Green Hills. NaFF is now one of the largest film festivals in the country and one the few Oscar qualifiers, meaning the winning film is granted a one-week run in Los Angles, which automatically qualifies it for Academy Award consideration. Members who used their SAG-AFTRA card to be part of the festivities enjoyed discounted prices to screenings and the opening night gala.
