Your Action Needed on Incentive Bill

AB 1839, the Expanded Film and Television Job Creation Act, passed the California State Assembly unanimously on May 28. AB 1839 aims to expand the current California film and TV tax credits for productions, while increasing employment opportunities throughout the state.

The bill now moves into the Senate, with a vote slated for August. We have garnered tremendous support up and down the state, including the backing of the California Federation of Teachers, but we need members to add their voices to the chorus of support for the bill.
