There was a lot happening these last few months. Most significantly, after the longest TV/Theatrical strike in the union’s history, the studios were at last willing to negotiate on the issues most critical to members. Get the details of the new agreement here, and on the website.

But that wouldn’t have been possible without the dogged tenacity of the membership. Across the nation, members gathered to boldly show the world that actors are unified in demanding contract terms that provide fair compensation and protect them from abuses of generative artificial intelligence. In the process, they were joined by labor allies, including the WGA and others, and captured the hearts of the public.
