On Nov. 8, the SAG-AFTRA TV/Theatrical Negotiating Committee reached a tentative agreement with the AMPTP. The gains achieved are expected to generate over $1 billion in new provisions and protections. 

The details of this groundbreaking agreement address many of the concerns from performers about A.I., residual payments under the streaming model, and much more. To help provide better context and insight into the 2023 TV/Theatrical Agreement, SAG-AFTRA Executive Vice President Linda Powell, National Executive Director & Chief Negotiator Duncan Crabtree-Ireland, and Chief Contracts Officer Ray Rodriguez deep-dive into the details of the new agreement.
