The Dallas-Fort Worth Local hosted another successful SAG Awards viewing party at Times Ten Cellars in Dallas. The awards show was streamed live on Netflix Feb. 24. Attendees were treated to gift bags, food, drinks and plenty of cheer, as members and guests from across the metroplex came together to celebrate another year of hard work and union solidarity.
This great party is only possible because of the hard work and dedication of our DFW Local SAG Awards Viewing Party Committee members, who worked to secure a unique venue experience in the heart of Dallas. We also owe thanks to our generous industry partners who contributed a variety of door prizes that multiple lucky members took home.
When members of the DFW Local get together, it’s always a great time, and this year was no different. As our industry grows and changes, our local grows and changes with it, but we remain connected by our common interests and union solidarity. The 30th Annual SAG Awards viewing party offered members a chance to come together and celebrate the nominees and winners of this year’s awards. It also gave us the opportunity to celebrate our local performers who make our Dallas-Fort Worth Local great.
Be sure to check our Dallas-Fort Worth Local events page for upcoming activities hosted by your DFW Local. Thanks to everybody who attended and helped make it a night to remember. If you attended the party and are interested in any photos that may have been captured throughout the evening, send us a note at dallas@sagaftra.org and we’ll be sure to follow up.
