This is your final call to action on this important bill
The True Origin of Digital Goods Act, a consumer protection bill that focuses on rogue websites whose owners/operators hide their identities and sell music and/or movies from the site, has passed both the state Senate and House, and is headed to the governor’s office for signature. We need your support – ask the Governor to sign the bill! This consumer protection digital labeling statute emulates the True Name and Address laws for physical music CDs and movies currently in each state. Google is trying to kill the bill by asking the Governor for a veto. We can’t let this happen.
Please email the statement listed below to the Governor and his staff. Please ask all of your colleagues and friends to send emails as well. We need them now! We want to show the Governor how important this is to Florida’s music and film community.
Thank you for supporting.
