Former Young Performers Team Up with Los Angeles Conservatory to Share Their Stories

The Los Angeles Young Performers Committee kicked off its retrospective series with actor Denzel Whitaker talking about the hills and valleys of his career. Whitaker, who has been featured in numerous movies and television shows, encouraged young performers to make sure they take care of their mental health, create a great support network and have hobbies that fuel your passions. He believes these are the keys to creating a successful work-life balance. He also encouraged learning the ins and outs of your craft at a young age. 

The event was moderated by L.A. Local Young Performers Committee Co-Chair Brandon Severs. Look out for more young performer retrospectives in the near future.
