Park at 10 East Ontario. Enter on the north side of Ontario between Wabash and State, and then take a ticket. When you sign in, you will be given a complimentary four-hour ticket pass. You will need both tickets to exit the parking structure.

This event is only open to paid-up SAG-AFTRA members in good standing. Unfortunately, no guests allowed. Parents/guardians of younger performers under 18 years old are welcome. SAG-AFTRA members, please bring your membership card or digital card on the app (paid through April 30, 2019) for admittance.

The SAG-AFTRA Senior Radio Players are presenting their 93rd evening of live radio recreations with Holiday Potpourri on Dec. 6 at the Chicago Cultural Center’s Claudia Cassidy Theater.

This holiday presentation is a mixture of goodies: comedy and music, with a sprinkling of trials, tribulations and laughter. It features the classic radio presentations Easy Aces: Jane Goes into the Christmas Card Business and The Bickersons episode The Honeymoon Is Over – John’s Operation. The show is directed by Senior Radio Players performer Guy Barile. Doors open at 6 p.m. and show time is 7 p.m. Remember, it’s free.

The Chicago Acting in Film Meetup nonprofit is having its annual Holiday Hurrah Hoopla this year on Monday, Dec. 10, at Carbon Arc Bar & Board in Chicago and CAFM is offering SAG-AFTRA members a discount on their admission tickets.

Premium raffle ticket holders can win prizes, from private coaching to acting classes. Everyone can bid in the silent auction to win 10 minutes with top Chicago on-camera and voiceover agents and local casting directors. 

Founded in 2007, CAFM has more than 70 working actors who co-mentor each other. A recognized 501(c)(3) organization, the group holds private monthly events to educate and empower on-camera actors. Its December fundraiser and networking party is open to the entire Chicago production community. You can also purchase a blinker pin for $20 to play Heads and Tails to win the grand prize: a winter weekend getaway package featuring a two-night stay at a downtown Chicago hotel, plus food and entertainment. For all prizes, you must be present to win.
