Netflix and SAG-AFTRA are partnering on a series of in-person workshops aimed at helping to build a pipeline of diverse talent with live-action dubbing experience. The Los Angeles-based workshops will be held in a local recording studio and participants will be given hands-on instruction recording scenes with experienced dubbing creative leads.
Enrollment is free and available slots will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Space is limited to 20 participants and five (5) waitlist spots. Participants must be 18 years of age or older. Members who have already participated in a Netflix & SAG-AFTRA Dubbing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Training Program are not eligible to participate at this time.
SAG-AFTRA will collect registration data for the workshop(s), however the program is administered, funded, and managed by Netflix. Ideal participants are professional performers with some voiceover experience, but limited to no prior dubbing experience, who are interested in learning more about live-action dubbing and pursuing work opportunities in this area.
ADA accommodations will be provided upon request but must be solicited via email to diversity@sagaftra.org no less than 72 hours prior to the workshop(s).
All travel and expenses are the sole responsibility of workshop participants.
Netflix has requested permission to retain workshop participant contact information for potential follow-up after the workshop. Permission is granted at the sole discretion of workshop participants, given on the day of the workshop, and is not required to participate. Please note that this list is managed by Netflix and SAG-AFTRA does not have the ability to make changes once you grant permission
