The ReUnion Kitchen in Old Town Sacramento is playing host to a new networking event for artists living and working throughout California’s capital city and beyond. The Mogul Meetup is an opportunity for anyone working in the creative arts to make connections that might lead to locally produced and staffed television and theatrical productions. The free monthly mixers are the brainchild of SAG-AFTRA member Buddy Rahming.

“I have been a SAG-AFTRA member since 2017,” explained Rahming. “And I wanted to create a hub for filmmakers to meet, network and eventually get their productions off the ground.”

About 50 actors, producers, writers, musicians and editors spent time mingling with other business professionals and representatives from local film industry nonprofits. Rahming says he plans on holding the Mogul Meetup the last Wednesday of every month from 7 to 9 p.m.
