The Merrimack Valley Labor Council in conjunction with UMass Lowell Labor Education Program hosted Labor’s Resurgence: What Lessons Can We Learn From the Current Wave of Worker Action? The Feb. 10 conference opened with a panel discussion moderated by Marcelle Grair of SEIU Local 509. Brandon Mancilla from UAW Region 9A, Andover Teachers Association President Matthew Bach and SAG-AFTRA New England Local Executive Director Jessica Maher highlighted the successful labor campaigns that took place across the region in 2023.
