More than 25 dedicated broadcasters and journalists from union stations across the country attended the SAG-AFTRA Public Media Summit held at the Kaufherr Resource Center in Chicago, June 23–24.
During the two-day summit, a variety of topics were discussed, including tips and tools for using social media and SAG-AFTRA resources to create fair and equitable workplaces. The summit also included a presentation by SAG-AFTRA staff on ways to change the culture that enables sexual harassment.
SAG-AFTRA’s national organizing and broadcast staff co-hosted the event with the broadcasting staff from the Chicago Local.
