WMA Hosts Short Project Agreement Webinar

Twenty-five performers and producers tuned in to the Short Project Agreement 101 webinar on May 22 to learn more about SAG-AFTRA’s new agreement. The webinar was led by the local’s senior business representative, Jess W. Speaker III.

During the session, Speaker walked through provisions of the agreement, discussed how producers can use the contract to hire SAG-AFTRA members and demystified aspects of the signatory process. Those in attendance expressed their excitement about using the new agreement, and several attendees have already followed up with the local to start their next project.
