Network Television Code Referendum Informational Meeting

Aug 06, 2018 - 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM CDT

Where:

Your SAG-AFTRA National Board has overwhelmingly approved the gains negotiated for the 2018 Network Television Code and recommends you VOTE YES on this referendum. This contract generates more than $200 million a year in member earnings and covers programming in almost all television day parts as well as programming produced for digital media.

All eligible members were mailed a postcard on July 26 with instructions and a PIN number on how to vote online or how to request a paper ballot. If necessary, you can retrieve your PIN at the voting website by clicking “Find My PIN.” The deadline for ballots to be received, whether submitted online or by mail, is Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018 at 5 p.m. PDT.

You are invited to an informational webinar on the proposed Network Television Code and the gains secured in this contract. This meeting will provide members the opportunity to hear a presentation followed by a group discussion.

When: Monday, Aug. 6, 2018:  2-4 p.m. CDT

This meeting is only open to paid-up SAG-AFTRA members in good standing, no guests are allowed in the webinar. Parents/guardians of performers under 18 years old are welcome.

The Script2Screen LIVE series provides professional actors to read un-produced film or TV scripts before an industry audience. Scripts are selected from professional writers and/or script festival winners. They are rehearsed, directed and performed by professionals before casting directors, producers, directors, investors and industry pros for one performance only.
